Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

Interested in learning more about The River Church? Pastor Brad will be teaching our River 101 class on Tuesday, August 8th, from 6:15 - 8:30 p.m. here at The River Church. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. Sign up at HitTheRiver.com/Events.
August 19th - Small Group Leader Breakfast
Mark your calendars for our annual breakfast and updates from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. This is for all current small group leaders and new ones starting this Fall. We look forward to our time together sharing some great food, updates, and meaningful conversation together as leaders. Contact Leslie@hittheriver.com with any questions.
August 26th - Sleep In Heavenly Peace Bed Build
Sleep in Heavenly Peace will coordinate with our church for a build day on Saturday, August 26th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Teams of volunteers will help deliver the beds we will build after they are complete. Each bed will include the frame, pillows, sheets, and comforters. We need builders and a hospitality team to help make our build day event fun and memorable. Children ages 12 and up can help the builder team, children between ages 8 - 12 can help move lumber to different stations, and children under age 8 can help Miss Taylor with a special service project for SHP.
Builders only need to bring work gloves and if you have an SHP t-shirt from a previous build please wear it. Sign up at HitTheRiver.com/Events

Interested in joining the Garden & Landscaping group?
If you are interested in occasionally helping beautify the River flower and shrub beds this group is for you! We are looking for people interested in weeding, pruning, and general light landscaping help a few times during Spring and Summer. We also are hoping to start a small community herb garden for members to enjoy! If you are interested in joining or have questions please contact Leslie@hittheriver.com.
River Kids & River Youth
August 9th - River Youth - All Camp at Get Air
On Wednesday, August 9th all 6-12th graders are invited to join us for an evening at Get Air with all the churches that were at Camp together. The cost is $12 a person. If you need transportation we will meet at the church at 6:00 pm and all parents will pick their student up from Get Air at 8:00 pm.

All River Kids volunteers are invited to a meeting on August 12th. Stay tuned for more details.
August 15th - High School Putt Putt
All students 9-12th grade are invited to join The River Youth for our High school putt putt outing. The cost is $10 for mini golf and we will end our night together going to Jungle Jim’s. If you can’t drive yourself and need a ride we will meet at the church at 5:00 to depart and be back around 8:30 for pickup. Sign-up at HitTheRiver.com/events

Students and families in 6-12th grade are invited to join us for a family potluck on Sunday, August 20th from 6:30 - 8:00 at The River Church! Interested in joining our Coffee team? Coffee team members come a little early on Sunday mornings to set up and make coffee.
