Three guidelines for navigating the storms of life.
1. Face Your Fears
“Fear doesn’t want you to make the journey to the mountain. If he can rattle you enough, fear will persuade you to take your eyes off the peaks and settle for a dull existence in the flatlands.” -- Max Lucado
2. Forget Your Failures.
“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 NIV84
3. Follow Your Faith
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith,….” Hebrews 12:1-2a
The central question in life is not…
”How many storms must we pass through?”
But…”Do we have Faith for the storms we pass through?”
”How many storms must we pass through?”
But…”Do we have Faith for the storms we pass through?”
