Baptism Is Exemplified By Jesus

Jesus gives us this heavy phrase where He says:
“Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.”

Righteousness - the aligning of one’s whole self around God’s will, His nature, and His
Kingdom.

Baptism Publicly Identifies Us With Jesus

The Shock Factor: You say your a Christian and your friends/co-workers are shocked to find out.

The Sideline Effect: You don’t serve; you don’t give; you don’t mentor; you’re not being mentored; you’re not in a group; you’re not in the Word.

The Silent Treatment: You don’t talk about what God, you don’t talk about His Word, or you don’t talk about His movement in your life.
