Key Theme:
Jesus is returning as a victor to fully and finally accomplish all that he has promised.

Key Application:
Knowing the names of the one who sits upon the white horse should radically affect our confidence, zeal, and allegiance to Him.

Key Verse:
Titus 2:11-14 “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.”

Key Questions:
1. Spend some time writing down all the names you can think of for the LORD and Jesus. How does each name affect the way you see the things happening around you in your personal life, world, family, etc.?

2. Discuss with your family or write in a journal the ways you are trying to “train” (Titus 2:12) as you await his appearing? Be specific.

3. Are there any areas that you try to negotiate the terms of serving the King of kings and the Lord of lords? Will you surrender those areas to Him?
Resources for today’s sermon are available upon request in the church office.

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
