The goal of the nice is to please others, the goal of the kind is to help others. We’ve become so nice, we’re cruel.
Compassion is driven by wisdom and the fear of The Lord, empathy is driven by emotion and the fear of man.
We’re not “progressing” into a post-Christian society; we’re RE-gressing into a pre-Christian society.
Suffering and Joy are in the same cup!
