Power of Leaders

Acts 4:10-12, “10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 Jesus is 'The stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Cornerstone

“Salvation is found in no one else, tor there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Timothy Keller once wrote, “The gospel is an exclusive truth but it's the most inclusive exclusive truth in the world.”

Timothy Keller writes, “God’s grace does not come to people who morally outperform others, but to those who admit their failure to perform and who acknowledge their need for a Savior.”

Power that comes through Jesus

Philippians 2:3-8, “3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. 5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!”

Acts 4:13,“When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Jesus went to the cross providing the only means of salvation.
