1. Your Father God is Full of Unconditional Love For You

1. When you think of your family growing up what words come to mind? Why did you pick those words? Describe some of the good things your family embedded in you. What’s an area or maybe even a wound that you carried with you as an adult?

2. Pastor Sean said that many and most people have a difficult time embracing the love and affection of our Heavenly Father. Have you found that to be true in your own life? 1 John 3:1 says, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be calledchildren of God! And that is what we are!” How has knowing you have a Heavenly Father changed your life? What was it about Him that transformed your heart?

3. John 15:1-2 says, “I [Jesus] am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes a so that it will be even more fruitful.” How amazing is it that your Father God is a gardener of you?! On a scale of red, orange, yellow, or green, how much of your heart have you allowed your Father God to prune and shape? Is there anything in your life that you can identify that you need your Heavenly Father to cut out of your life? When you look back at your spiritual growth, describe what work has Father God done in your heart?

4. Review the four truths above about our Heavenly Father. Which one confirmed and affirmed your heart the most and why? Which one challenged your heart the most and why?

5. Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Is there any secret areas of your heart you need to let your Heavenly Father run into? Stop and pray and ask God to search your heart today and to have His way in you.
