WHATEVER BATTLE YOU ARE FACING TODAY IS A REMINDER THAT GOD'S PROMISES ARE ALWAYS TRUE!
GOD'S PROMISES NEVER FAIL!
[Bridge]
I know breakthrough is coming
By faith I see a miracle
My God made me a promise
And it won't stop now
I know breakthrough is coming
By faith I see a miracle
My God made me a promise
And it won't stop now
Here are some of the Greatest Promises of God for you in a battle today:
LOOK AT ALL THE GREAT PROMISES OF GOD FOR YOU:
Weary He gives Strength
Burdened He give Rest
Feel unlovable His love never fails
Feel Alone - God has adopted you
Don't know what to do- Give Wisdom
Being Tempted You can make the Devil Run
When you sin He Forgives
God to use your life He Exalts the Humble
Don’t want to be abandoned again He Never Will
Need Life He Give Life
Don’t feel strong enough… God will meet your needs
You are in a Battle and feel defeated… God works all things for good
GOD'S PROMISES NEVER FAIL AND HE WON'T START NOW!
WE ARE VICTORS STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF GOD - FOR US!
[Chorus]
Your presence is an open door
We want You, Lord
Like never before
Your presence is an open door
So come now, Lord
Like never before
Your presence is an open door
We want You, Lord
Like never before
Your presence is an open door
So come now, Lord
Like never before
SINCE GOD'S PROMISE WON'T STOP NOW, NEITHER WILL MY PURSUIT OF HIM.
[Verse 1]
I give You glory
For all You've brought me through
And now I'm ready
For whatever You wanna do
I'm moving forward
To follow after You
And now I'm ready
For whatever You wanna do
I give You glory
For all You've brought me through
And now I'm ready
For whatever You wanna do
I'm moving forward
To follow after You
And now I'm ready
For whatever You wanna do
I’M HANDING GOD THE PEN TO FINISH WRITING MY STORY.
Talk It Over
1. Listen to the song, “Won't Stop Now” by Elevation Worship. What did God say to you through this song? What lyrics confirmed the things of God in your heart. What lyrics challenged your view of yourself or God?
2. Pastor Sean dedicated this message to those of us in a battle that feel defeated, weary, and stuck and need to stand on God’s promises. What battle are you facing or have recently faced? On a scale of red, orange, yellow, green, how would you rate your strength in your battle? In what ways do you see God moving? If it is a past battle, how did God show you through?
3. Psalm 33:8-11 says, "Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere him. 9For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. 10The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.11But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.” God’s promises never fail! Describe how God has never failed you? If you haven’t experienced the power of God's promises what maybe holding you back?
4. Pastor Sean listed sixteen promises of God above in the message. Out of the list of promises which one confirms what you believe and live out the most? Which one challenges what you believe and need to start living out better?
5. Romans 8:28 says, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Pastor Sean said that we are victors standing on the promises of God and that things don't just happen to us, but in God's economy they happen for us. Give an example of something that man meant for evil that God used for good in your life? How much credit do you give others compared to the glory we give to God for our circumstances? What’s one step you can to take to better stand in victor?
