First, “at just the ______ ______” – “Kairos” - ”- a divinely ordained and chosen moment.
Secondly, it was “when we were still ________” – “asthenes” – weak, feeble, impotent, sick, helpless.
Thirdly, we were “_______” - sinners, people who were missing the mark.
Fourthly, we were “________” – “hamartano” – people who have offended Him, trespassed against Him, made ourselves His enemies.
It’s been called, “The word of substitution”
How should we respond? Two ways:
First, Stop, pause, think and confess, “I _____ ___.” “I need _____” “I need His gift of love”

Three ways Jesus taught us to love:

That is true love- love isn’t just an emotion, love is a verb, an action, it’s what we do. Here’s what Jesus did:

He just never gives up!
