1. Listen to the song, “Hymn of Heaven” by Phil Wickham. What did God say to you through this song? What lyrics confirmed the things of God in your heart. What lyrics challenged your view of yourself or God?

Colossians 3:1-2 says, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Would you say your mind and heart or more fixated on earth or Heaven. Describe your longing for Heaven. What are some best practices you use to set your mind on Heaven?

3. Colossians 3:3 says, “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Hymn of Heaven verse two says, “And every prayer, we prayed in desperation. The songs of faith, we sang through doubt and fear. In the end, we'll see that it was worth it.” Pastor Sean said that we are secure in the secret places Christ now and forever. Describe a season you felt vulnerable and distant from God. How did you found your way back to the hidden place of Christ? What difference has it made in your life?

4. Since death has no victory first Corinthians 15:58 says, "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. How would your rate yourself to fully giving yourself to the Lord? What one or two things would have to change for you to fully giving yourself to Jesus?

5. “Hymn of Heaven” is a song written from the actually songs sung in Heaven literally found throughout the Book of Revelation. Revelation 5:13 says, "Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” Will you let it be today that you join the choir of Heaven - praise it forward for the glory of God? When you think of the Lamb of God in Heaven what are the things you give him the praise, honor, glory for?
