CCE REFINANCE INVESTMENT • Calvary Chapel Eastside is looking for investors as we prepare to refinance a loan of ~$4.8M this year. One of the main ways we accomplish that is through our own LLC called Solid Ground. This financing vehicle provides 4% interest on a five year term, which works especially well with low yield retirement accounts. In effect, investors become part owners of property valued in excess of $16M.

CCE SUMMER YOUTH BIKE TRIP • Calling all 7th through 12th graders! Calvary Chapel Eastside’s Summer Youth Bike Trip is July 30th through August 5th. We will enjoy a week of biking, sharing together in fellowship, having fun, and drawing near to Jesus.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY | CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS • Our Children’s Ministry is seeking volunteers for all of our programs. Can you join the children as they journey with Jesus this year? We are currently seeking teachers and helpers on Sunday mornings across our three age groups: Babies & Tots (0-2); Younger Kids (3-Kindergarten Years); 1st-3rd Grades; 4th-6th Grades.

We are also seeking a qualified Special Needs Assistant.

AWANA • Registration is open! Calvary Chapel Eastside’s Awana program is a great way for young people to draw near to Jesus as they hide God’s Word in their hearts. Knowing how God wants us to live out our faith is vitally important to our spiritual health and the future of our children.

Join us Wednesdays, 7-8:30pm. All children 3 years through 6th grade will grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus through the Bible in this multi-leveled club.

WOMEN’S TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY • Join us in the Lodge (down the steps at the far end of the CCE church parking lot) every Tuesday, 10:30am-12:30pm.

This spring, we are delving into Get Out of Your Head, Jennie Allen’s study in the book of Philippians. We will also enjoy picnics and/or hikes attached to some of our gatherings, and select locations depending upon planned activities, weather, etc.

WOMEN’S WEDNESDAY INDEPENDENT BIBLE STUDY • Join us for Growing in Joy, by Kari Denker. This inductive deep dive into the book of Philippians builds on our continued reading in The Joy of My Heart: Meditating Daily on God’s Word, by Anne Graham Lotz.

We will combine hybrid independent study with virtual discussions and in-person meetings on specified Wednesday evenings in Room 204, and other dates to be determined.

Adam, Anna, Jael, Karis, Miles, Libby, and Tessa are a full time missionary family, serving with Ethnos360 among the Lembena people of Papua New Guinea. Dedicated to learning the culture and understanding the language, they have been leading a literacy program, developing lessons for chronological bible teaching, completing a Bible translation, and building a self-sustaining church for these special people!
