“Revelation: The Prayers of All the Saints" | April 23 | Revelation 8:1-5
Locations & Times
Central Christian Church
2900 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67226, USA
Sunday 9:30 AM
Key Theme:
The prayers of the saints have an eternal effect as they rise before God who is seated on the throne.
Key Application:
As we are reminded that God hears our prayers, we ought to pray with heart focused on his Kingdom first knowing there is nothing too hard for the Lord.
Key Verse:
Revelation 8:3-4 “And another angel came and stood at the altar with a
golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of
all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel.”
Key Questions:
1. When you are reminded that your prayers ascend before God, how does that affect your perspective on prayer? Does it create a desire within you to pray more often?
2. Since there is nothing too hard for the Lord, what is something that seems impossible to you that you should begin to pray about?
3. Jesus has called us to seek his kingdom first. In light of that, what is something kingdom-minded that you should start praying about?

Give Online
Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
