Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group in 2023 please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com

Upcoming Events

April 26th - "Ladies Who Lunch” Picnic
Please join us for an indoor picnic in our River Cafe on Wednesday, April 26th at noon. We will meet together and have some lunch, fun and fellowship! This is for all ladies of our church. We are in the process of remaking our Ladies Who Lunch affinity group so this is a great opportunity to come and check it out.

We are wanting to provide some various monthly lunch experiences to meet different schedules, locations, budgets, and food preferences. We want to encourage women to come and invite a friend, neighbor, family member or co-worker to join us. The more the merrier!

All ladies are welcome to come and feel free to bring your kids for this event if they are not in school Please email leslie@HitTheRiver.com to let her know you are coming and please bring a packed lunch.

April 27th - Ladies Book Study
Please join us for a 6-week study here at the River Church starting April 27th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. We will be studying Lysa Terkeurst’s newest book Good Boundaries and Goodbyes. We will learn how to cultivate healthy relationships and learn to love people the way God intended. Register on our website.

May 4th - Blood Drive
There will be a mobile blood drive here from the Community Blood Center on May 4th from 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Sign up to donate at donortime.com

May 14th - Child Dedication
On Sunday, May 14th, we will be having a baby/child dedication during both of our services (9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.). This is a great opportunity to publicly declare your commitment to raising your child to become a Christ follower. Sign up at HitTheRiver.com/events

May 21st - River Rumble Cruise-In
This is for people who like cars. No requirements. If it has an engine and wheels, it's welcome. You don't need to have a cool car or any car at all. If you just like to look at cars and hang out with other auto enthusiasts, this is for you too. This event is for anyone! Bring a lunch and enjoy the cars while talking and meeting new people. The first car event will take place on Sunday, May 21 at 12:30 p.m, weather permitting. Chuck & Mary Richardson will be leading this affinity group. May 31 - June 2 - EntreLeadership Summit
Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership Summit is coming to The River Church! We are live-streaming the event for you, your business colleagues, and friends to attend. This is designed for business leaders, managers, business owners, and any wanting to grow in leadership. Speakers include: Dave Ramsey, Dr. Jordan Peterson, Willie Robertson, Alison Levine and more! Cost is only $25 per person for all three days and includes snacks, refreshments and 60 days of replay access.

July 17th - 21st - Vacation Bible School "Twists & Turns"
2023's Vacation Bible School is coming to The River Church! VBS is July 17 - 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.! All potty-trained 3-year-olds - 5th graders are invited to join us for an exciting week of learning about how following Jesus changes the game! **Volunteers Needed! There is a spot for YOU to serve! Volunteer opportunities range from crew leaders, craft leaders, music leaders, check-in greeters, and more. The River Kids Team appreciates your help!

Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in joining our Coffee team? Coffee team members come a little early on Sunday mornings to set up and make coffee. Whether brewing coffee or maintaining small talk, these volunteers have smiles on their faces and love making our cafe a little more inviting.
