Palm Sunday showcases the triumph of Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem before the tragedy of the Crucifixion. In both triumph and tragedy, God reigns. Nothing surprises our Sovereign God! Randy’s sermon on Sunday will look at Hebrews 11:32-40 through the glory of Palm Sunday and the glory of Good Friday. We’ll see how God is glorified in both celebration and suffering. And, we’ll learn that instead of praying for a life void of any suffering, we should pray for a life that aims to glorify God by suffering well.

I. There are times when God determines to triumph through the faith of skilled servants.
II. At other times, God determines to triumph through tragedy in the lives of his servants, who trust Him no matter what.
FAITH is the assurance that Jesus is better than what life can give or what death can take.
III. God has determined to redeem our triumphs and tragedies through Jesus.
FAITH IS BELIEF + UNBELIEF + ACTING ON THE BELIEF PART...NO MATTER WHAT!
