• What questions would Jesus ask us at the dinner table?
(John 13:1-5 NLT) Before the Passover celebration, Jesus knew that his hour had come to leave this world and return to his Father. He had loved his disciples during his ministry on earth, and now he loved them to the very end. It was time for supper, and the devil had already prompted Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God. So he got up from the table, took off his robe, wrapped a towel around his waist, and poured water into a basin. Then he began to wash the disciples' feet, drying them with the towel he had around him.
1. Your highest calling is to serve people.

(John 13:14-15, 17 NLT) And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other's feet. || I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you... Now that you know these things, God will bless you for doing them.
•Find a need and fill it.

•Find a hurt and heal
What can I do this week to serve some one?
2. When earth gets hard, focus on heaven.

(John 14:1-3 NLT) "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with mewhere I am.
• If I know God, earth is as close to hell as I'll ever get. It only gets better.

• If I don't know God, earth is as close to heaven as I'll ever get. It only getsworse.
(John 15:4-5 NLT) Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
3. We can do more together than we can apart.

(John 15:8 NIV) This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
(John 14:16-17 NLT) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. ... you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

(John 16:1 NLT) "I have told you these things so that you won't abandon your faith.

4. Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit with in you.
The Holy Spirit's voice is never louder than my willingness to listen.

What has the Holy Spirit been saying to me?
5. Pray about everything.

(John 17:1 NLT) After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. ...."
