3. It shows us how we are to conquer or overcome
i. Lay down your life
ii. Absorb the hurts of others
iii. Relinquish dominion to Him
iv. He must be the focal point
Key Theme:
Christ as the Lion overcame and conquered by becoming a Lamb and has been declared worthy to bring to completion God’s righteous and redemptive purposes in history.

Key Application:
We should seek to follow his example as the conquering Lamb.

Key Verse:
Revelation 5:9-10 ““Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”

Key Questions:
1. Have you ever lived a season of life where another person was the focal point of everything you did? Think of your first love? What did that look like and how could that give insight into how we should be with Jesus?

2. Are you seeking to maintain dominion over someone in your life? Dominion over your OWN life? How does Jesus’ example challenge you?

3.How can you seek to absorb the effects of sin for those around you?
Resources for today’s sermon are available upon request in the church office.

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
