Focus: Are you Hungry!

Foundation Scripture: Matthew 5:6 (KJV) & (AMP)

Prayer Points:
1. That We have a change in our values as we hunger for God and live out his righteousness and way of doing things.
2. Stay Thirsty and expect God’s goodness as we eagerly want and long for Him.
3. Believers recognize that we are fully satisfied (complete) in Christ alone.
4. Pray for Sunday service

No one wants to live near a grave or do anything associated with them. Well, I have good news for you today, Jesus is not in the grave. You can visit the graves of other religious leaders, past presidents, and historical figures. You can visit the graves of past loved ones, but you cannot visit the burial place of the greatest man that ever lived, Jesus Christ, because he rose from the dead and is alive today.

Two points I want you to take away from this series

1. Dead to sin.

2. Alive to God

This is good news for everyone. The death and resurrection of Jesus is the most significant event in the history of all mankind, and its effects are still impacting us here today. I want to show you how this effects us in this moment.

1. Jesus’ Death was Perfect.

Think about this for a moment, Jesus’ death was so perfect that it stands in place for every person that has or ever will live on this earth. How perfect was Jesus’ death? I’ll show you two things about the death of Jesus that illustrate how perfect his death really was. We’ll look at those in part 2 next week
