God Almighty doesn’t need the help of mankind to fulfill His covenant promises but does require faithful obedience of His covenant partner

God Requires Faithful Obedience from His Covenant Partner
“God, as the covenant maker and keeper will always keep his promises, despite human disobedience, because that is the kind of glorious God he is. And yet, God will always demand perfect obedience from a faithful human covenant partner.”

For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.”
Genesis 26:3–5 (ESV)
Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”

And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies, and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

What's Left for you and me? Faith-filled obedience
• A faith so true that it reorients our whole life to “walk before the Lord
• A faith so true that it leads us to live blameless (worthy of the call)
• A faith so true that it leads us to obey all that Jesus has commanded
