Bring Joy to the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the triune nature of God.
The Greek word for grieve is lupeo, which means to give pain, to pain, distress or vex; to make sorrowful or sad.

Four ways we can bring joy to the Holy Spirit.
1. Practice the Presence of God
To practice the presence of God means that we are spending time in reading and studying His Word and praying. It means that we are continuously aware that God Himself is on the inside of us through the person of the Holy Spirit.

4. Know Who You are in Him and What He Purposed You to Do

WEEKLY CHALLENGE
Be mindful that as a believer you have a person who lives on the inside of you, and that is the Holy Spirit. Ask Him if you have any attitudes, words or behaviors that bring Him sorrow. Wherever He tells you to make an adjustment, be willing to do so.
