YOU CAN’T FIND ANY PERFECT HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS IN THE BIBLE.
GOD ISN”T AS INTERESTED AS MUCH AS WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN AS MUCH AS WHERE YOU ARE GOING.
THEY WERE: LITERALLY MADE FOR EACH OTHER.
“UNITED TOGETHER” IS THE BEST DEFINITION OF HEALTHY MARRIAGE

WATCH THE SHIFT FROM UNITED TO UNTIED.
LOOK AT THE LIES OF SIN
- I’m just going to take a quick look.
- I’m not hurting anyone.
- That fruit looks great on the outside.
- Think of how much my status would rise.

WE ARE ONE OF THE GREATEST GENERATIONS COVERED IN SHAME.
NEW WORDS ENTERED THE DICTIONARY: MINE, ME, MY, I, FEAR, SHAME, SIN, HIDING, AND LOST.
WE ARE ALL BROKEN, BUT WE ARE NOT ABANDONED
GOD TOOK THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS US AND PURSUED US.
STOP TRYING AND START TRUSTING THE ONE WHO ALWAYS CLOTHES US.

TALK IT OVER
1. What stood out to you most about the message? What was Holy Spirit revealing to you?
2. Pastor Sean said, you can’t find any perfect relationships the Bible outside the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. How does it make you feel knowing that you are in good company? We all have a past and many of us get stuck. Based on your experience, describe how this statement helps you get unstuck: God isn’t as interested as much as where you have been as much as where you are going!
3. Genesis 2:24 says, “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and isunited to his wife, and theybecome one flesh. God used the word “united” to describe and define marriage. Would you describe your marriage more united together for the things of God or more untied and on different paths? Why did you pick that word?
4. Pastor Sean said, “We are the greatest generation covered in shame.” That internet pornography makes more money than Netflix, Hollywood and Viacom. That the US has the largest amount of clicks on porn and the highest day of those clicks happens on Sunday. How do you believe the shame of pornography has affected our generation? If pornography has been a stronghold in your past or something you currently battle how has that shaped you? If someone was struggling with pornography what advice would you give that person to break free?
5. Romans 5:19 says, “For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.” In other words, we are all broken, but we are not abandoned! Describe how significant it is to you that Jesus has according to Isaiah 61:10 has “robed you in righteousness.” What does if feel like to have your shame removed and replaced with God’s love?
6. Pastor Sean said, “There is only one letter difference between the words UNITED and UNTIED and it’s all about where you put the “I.” What words describe united? What words describe untied? What would it take to make your marriage or relationships more untied? If you are untied how willing are you to move the “I” to become united?
