1. He wants to help me know what I need to know.

“When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will lead you into all Truth.”

2. He wants to help me to get to where I need to go.

3. He wants to help me say the right things.

4. He wants to help me wait for God's perfect timing.

“We are led by the Spirit to wait in the confident hope of righteousness through faith.”

5. He wants to help me resist things I can't normally resist.

The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.
