Key Theme:
God has given us new life in Christ and a new community as we await the new heaven and new earth.

Key Application:
How are we to respond this year in light of the new things the Lord has done and is doing in our lives?

Key Verse:
Isaiah 42:9-10 9 "Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” 10 Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants"

Key Questions:
1. Who are the people that God has put in your life where you live, work, and play who are outside of Christ? How might you prayerfully build a relationship with them this year so you would have an opportunity to share Christ with them that they might experience new life?

2. How do you intend to engage in community in the coming year as part of the body of Christ so you could put into practice Ephesians 4:25-32? Gospel Life Class? House church? Prayer group? Serving in one of our ministries?

3. What things would you like to pursue or cultivate in the coming year with the realization that what you do in the here and now is meaningful and will only be built upon in the New Heaven and New Earth?
Resources for today’s sermon are available upon request in the church office.

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
