Big Idea: God chose to be with us because we were created for relationship with Him.

Joseph’s Annunciation story is one of grace and trust.

The first thing we notice in Luke’s narrative is the historical context of the event.

Due to their circumstances, Jesus is born in the humblest of places.

The shepherds are to be witnesses to the greatest event in human history.

All of Heaven confesses the identity of the child – Savior, Messiah and Lord.

Jesus’ birth in the humblest of settings is celebrated on a cosmic level.

Their visit to the manger confirms the angel’s proclamation and fills their hearts with joy.

We can respond to the birth of Christ in the same way – worshipping and praising God because God is with us.
