Talk It Over
1. The wise men brought myrrh as a symbol of Jesus death for our freedom. Describe how it makes you feel knowing that Jesus was born to die for your freedom?
2. Look at the three facts above of inviting others to God and to our Christmas Gatherings. Which of the three come as a reminder or never thought of that fact? Which one of the three comes the easiest for you to believe or do? Describe why you think that is? Which one of the threes is the hardest or gives you the most hesitation? Why do you believe that is? What steps can you take to build confidence in that area?
3. Read Acts 8:32-35 above. Pastor Sean said the world is full of lost sheep that need you to yield to God this week. If you were to make a list of people who you believe the Spirit of God is asking you to invite who would be on the list? How would you rate your obedience to the Spirit's leading in conversation? What’s one or two action steps you can take to increase your obedience? Describe how you would feel if God brought someone you invited and they heard the Good news of Jesus and committed their life to Christ?
