Key application:
Consider the source you are looking for to find joy and if it is not in God then begin to meditate on the truths of what Jesus has done for you during this Christmas season
Key verse:
Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Key Questions:
1. Have you ever found joy in the presence of another person? Try to put that into words, and consider if you have ever had a similar experience with the Lord?
2. What things bring you joy in this world even consider specifically for this Christmas? Are you expecting too much of them?
3. How can you practically hold onto joy when it seems that the fullness of completion of the promises we have been made seem far away?
