The Gift of Salvation

Foundation Scripture: Psalm 103:1-5 (NKJV)

In the days we’re living in with the challenges we face as Christians, it would do us good to consider the wonderful benefits we have in receiving this free gift called salvation. In light of these wonderful benefits, our explanation of salvation should be exciting when we are explaining salvation to a friend, relative, or co-worker.

Here are some keys that help us when we share this gift with others:

1. Acknowledge and repent from sin.

*Those who are not saved need to recognize that they are actually sinners and that the wages of sin are death, but God has a special gift for them.

2. It’s their choice to make.

*They must exercise their will because this is between them and a Holy God.

3. This gift is free and not earned.

4. How he demonstrated His love to us.

5. How to receive this wonderful gift of salvation.

Conclusion:
Don’t be afraid to share the gift of salvation with others.
