1. Hope: a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen
I. Worldly life is fueled by false hopes
II. hope leads us to pursue true life in Him
Key Theme:
Our hope (expectation and desire of something unseen) should be solely in Jesus and FOR Jesus.
Key application:
Examine our hopes and what they reveal about the “end” we desire so we can live a life truly hoping for His return.
Key verse:
Titus 2:13-14 “waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.”
Key Questions:
1. When do you feel hopeless? What does this reveal about promise or end you were looking for?
2. In what ways are you tempted to hope in the things of this world? Government, pleasure, influence, success etc.
3. What practical ways can you focus your hope this Christmas season?

Give Online
Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
