What is faith?

Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great
reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. 37 For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay ;38 but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. Hebrews 10:35 -39

Faith is not an event, it’s a ______________.
“We have been rescued from our enemies so we can serve God
without fear.” Luke 1:74
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about
what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Faith is ______________.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with
power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may
dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love, Eph. 3:16-17
for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory
that has overcome the world, even our faith.1 John 5:4

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later
receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not
know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the
promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents,
as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same
promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations,
whose architect and builder is God. Hebrews 11:8-10

Why is faith Important?

How do I get faith?
