8 Then Haman approached King Xerxes and said, “There is a certain race of people scattered through all the provinces of your empire who keep
themselves separate from everyone else. Their laws are different from
those of any other people, and they refuse to obey the laws of the king. So it is not in the king’s interest to let them live. 9 If it please the king, issue a
decree that they be destroyed, and I will give 10,000 large sacks of silver to
the government administrators to be deposited in the royal treasury.” Esther 3:8-9 (NLT)

13 Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that
because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are
killed. 14 If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the
Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die.
Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” 15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.” 17 So Mordecai went away and did everything as Esther had ordered him. Esther 4:13-17

1. Choose to earn the FAVOR and not the disfavor of those in authority.

2. Choose to be the SACRIFICE and do not sacrifice others.
10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then
produce a great harvest of generosity in you. 11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. 12 So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God. 13 As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. 14 And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you. 15 Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words! 2 Corinthians 9: 10-15

Love is: Making the Right Decision Taking the Wise Action
25 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Proverbs 16:25
3. COUNT the costs.
28 “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? 29 Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. 30 They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’” Luke 14:28-30
4. GO to God.
18 The Lord is close to all who call on Him, yes, to all who call on Him in truth. Psalm 145:18
