We are continuing our series called "How to Plan Your Funeral" and this week, we are going to focus on the way we love others.
Ice breaker: What does it mean to be loved by someone? What does it mean to show love?
We don’t need to live long to figure out that life involves regularly refocusing on what really matters. Have you experienced this refocus in your life lately? Share your experience with the group.
Read 1 Corinthians 13 together. Pastor Jonathan said, "it's love or nothing". How do the words of this scripture support that statement?
This passage beautifully illustrates what "loving well" means. What stands out to you most about this passage? Do you feel challenged in any way when reading how the Apostle Paul describes what it means to love others?
We love each other, but are we loving each other? Oftentimes, we allow what we do FOR them to keep us FROM them. Why is this such a difficult tension to manage?
There is a lot here! Let's make sure that we are loving well while we are here. Because, in the end, it's what they will experience from us now, while we are here that matters the most. Pray as a group.
