Operation Christmas Child
The River is thrilled to once again partner with Operation Christmas Child in bringing the hope of Jesus and the joy of a Christmas present to hundreds of children around the globe. This year, our goal is to collect 400 shoebox gifts for children who likely would not receive a Christmas gift otherwise. Visit the table by the fireplace in between services to pick up your boxes! Our Missions team will be covering the cost of shipping for all of our boxes. Shoeboxes must be returned by Sunday, November 6.
Today - Couples Study during 2nd Service
Come worship with us during the first service and then join us for an hour of meaningful discussion about strengthening our marriages in the youth room at 11:00! River Kids will be available for children from birth though 5th grade. This study does not require registration. The next two sessions will be October 16th and November 6th.
October 29 - Fall Festival
Fall Fun and Fellowship for All Ages! Join us from 1-1:45 for an exciting Trunk or Treat experience and then stay for a while and enjoy bounce houses, face painting, games, a fall craft, and lots of yummy snacks! This is the perfect time to invite friends, family, and neighbors to join you at The River!
Are you interested in hosting a trunk during Trunk or Treat? We ask that you register online and let us know what theme you are planning.
We would love to help you get plugged in to serve during the Festival! From monitoring inflatables to parking lot control, to assisting at the snack table and more, they are LOTS of ways to serve! We will be honoring all of our veterans during both services on Sunday, November 6th.
November 11th - River Couple’s Night
Join us at 7:00 p.m. for an evening of laughter, games, dessert, fellowship, and celebrating marriage. This is for all River Couples and friends are welcome as well. We do ask that you register for this event by going to HitTheRiver.com/Events.
