Talk It Over

1. What stuck out to you the most about the message? What was God saying to you?

2. Are you willing to discover your gift(s)? One of the best tools to do so is an assessment called the SHAPE Assessment. It helps you discover your Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences to not only see your gifting, but the potential ways you could use that gift. Make sure you save a copy of the results to look back on later. Look for opportunities to use your gift and consider serving on our Dream Team to make a difference.

3. When you think of the word church. Describe, what mental picture comes to mind? Pastor Sean said, “Stop going to church. Church isn’t a place or program, but a people - the Body of Christ.” With that in mind how do you envision your gift making a difference in the lives of people?

4. Matthew 5:16 says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” We are called to use our gift to be the soundtrack of God. Make a list of the common reasons people don't use their God given gifting as the body of Christ? Which one can you relate to the most and why?

5. On a scale of red, orange, yellow, green. How available are you today to use your God given gifting and play your part in the soundtrack of God? Describe how you’ve used your gift in the past to impact someone else. What advice would you give to someone who isn’t using their gift for God? Stop and pray and let God know, “Here I am. I am available.”
