Operation Christmas Child
The River is thrilled to once again partner with Operation Christmas Child in bringing the hope of Jesus and the joy of a Christmas present to hundreds of children around the globe. This year, our goal is to collect 400 shoebox gifts for children who likely would not receive a Christmas gift otherwise. Visit the table by the fireplace in between services to pick up your boxes! Our Missions team will be covering the cost of shipping for all of our boxes. Shoeboxes must be returned by Sunday, November 6.
Today - Bridal Shower for Taylor Starr
All ladies at the River are invited to come and celebrate the bride-to-be Taylor Starr from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Taylor and Garrett are registered at amazon.com. Email info@hittheriver.com if you have any questions.
Tonight - Worship Night: Hymns for Him
Join us at 6:30 p.m. here at The River for a night of live worship as we sing Hymns for Him! Our worship team will be leading us with some of our old favorite hymns. All ages are welcome to attend and we encourage you to invite your friends and family!
October 12th - First Joy Group Gathering
Our Joy group will be meeting here at the River from 1:00 - 2:30. This is open to all River attenders and their friends, family and community members. The theme for the day is "Putting Your Garden to Rest for Fall and Winter" presented by JT Benitez, Ohio State extension specialist located in Butler County. Dessert, coffee, tea and water will be served.

October 16th - Bring Your Parents to Church
During the 9:30 service on October 16, parents are invited to join their kids in Sunday School, observing and taking part in an exciting lesson! Bring Your Parents to Church Day is a great opportunity to meet families in similar stages of life, better get to know your child's Sunday School teachers, and see our curriculum in action. A light breakfast will be provided for all kids and parents. Email taylor@hittheriver.com with any questions.
October 16th - Couples Study during 2nd Service
Come worship with us during the first service and then join us for an hour of meaningful discussion about strengthening our marriages in the youth room at 11:00! River Kids will be available for children from birth though 5th grade. This study does not require registration. The next two sessions will be October 16th and November 6th.
October 29 - Fall Festival
All are invited to an afternoon of fall fun from 1:00 - 3:00! Join us from 1:00 - 1:45 for an exciting Trunk or Treat experience, and then stay for a while and enjoy bounce houses, face painting, games, crafts, and fall snacks!
