It's week 3 of our "Why We Do What We Do" series and this week we're discussing Giving.

To begin, read the following scriptures and then spend a few moments discussing the giving characteristics of Jesus reflected in the passages.

The first reason Pastor Jonathan shared for why we give is Obedience. How does obeying what God has asked of us teach us to trust?

God promises that His Blessings will be measured with more than money. Discuss how this truth is reflected in the following scriptures.

Vision is another reason that we give. We are better able to do together what we can not do alone. This is an eternal investment and part of Jesus' mission. Does being a part of something bigger make the idea of giving feel less intimidating?

The final reason Pastor Jonathan shared for why we give is Love. It is in response and gratitude for all Jesus has done for us. How does giving out of love deepen our relationship with Jesus?

Pastor Jonathan reminded us that Jesus has given so much. God is a giver and we’re His kids, it just makes sense for giving to become our way of life. Take some time and discuss some ways that giving can become a way of life in your everyday life.
