YOU WERE MADE TO BREAK THE STATUS QUO!
HOW TO BREAK FREE FROM THE STATUS QUO?
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE! GOD IS RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!
WE NEED TO STEP INTO GOD’s PRESENCE
We are in a Battle for our sight and if we loss sight God’s Presence in our lives becomes only Presumed and very rarely consumed.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE SOMEBODY!
YOU JUST HAVE TO BE WITH SOMEBODY!
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE SOMEBODY!
YOU JUST HAVE TO BE WITH SOMEBODY!
INVITE YOU TO STEP INTO GOD’S PRESENCE.
Starting Prayer:
I’M NOT ALONE. YOU ARE RIGHT HERE.. RIGHT NOW…..I WANT TO BE CONSUMED IN YOUR PRESENCE.
I’M NOT ALONE. YOU ARE RIGHT HERE.. RIGHT NOW…..I WANT TO BE CONSUMED IN YOUR PRESENCE.
Talk It Over
1. What stuck out to you most about the message? What is God saying to you?
2. Pastor Sean said, “If we loss sight of things above God’s presence in our lives becomes only presumed and very rarely consumed.” How consumed are you in God's presence? What in your life in this season can only attribute to God’s power and presence? What are the main things filling your life instead of the face of God?
3. Psalm 46:1-3 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3though its waters roar and foam, and the mountains quake with their surging.” Describe a time where God was ever-present help in trouble in your life? How has your relationship with God affected your anxiety and fear levels?
4. God is inviting us to step into His presence. Psalm 27:7-8 says, “Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. 8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.” If you were to seek God deeper, what would be the first step you will take to step into God’s presence and why? If you walk deeply in God's presence describe how God has shaped your life? What difference has it made?
5. Spend time in prayer to God and start with these words, “God I want to see you face, search me, show me your glory I want to know you personally.”
