Read Matthew 16:18 (NLT). In what ways does this scripture illustrate that the Church is not simply a building, but instead, the movement and mission of Jesus?

Read Acts 1:6-8 (NLT). Why do you think the apostles' focus was on freeing Israel and restoring the kingdom? What did Jesus command them to focus on instead?

Read Acts 2:41-47 (NLT). Pastor Jonathan said there is nothing like the local church when it is working right. Based on this scripture, what should the local church look like today? Use the following 3 points Jonathan referenced to help guide your discussion.
-The power of our church is seen out there, not in here ("scatter not just gather")
-Change what people think when they hear “church”

Our lives have been changed and are still changing! The Church is a body of connected people who become more together by advancing the kingdom work of Jesus. The Summit is a part of this, YOU are a part of this. How does being a part of that Bigger Picture inspire you?
