stronghold = ochyroma (greek)
a fortified area -- our enemy loves to get us to believe lies that begin to set up strongholds within our lives.
Satan is a deceiver, and his strategy to defeat you is to persuade you to believe his lies.
Jesus warned us, “There is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44).

Yet again Paul taught us truth:
“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead” (Eph. 1:19–20).
The power you need is a power you don’t possess in and of yourself.
Relying on your own power is self-help, and self-help only goes skin deep.
We need Jesus - his power - his truth!

If Satan’s primary weapon is lies, then our greatest counter-weapon is the truth of God’s Word.
Hebrews 4:12 offers a direct solution:
“The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

We need to find the lies (strongholds) and REPLACE with God's truth…
Identify the biggest lie or stronghold or thought habit (not from God) that is holding you back! Friends: You cannot defeat what you cannot define.
