A Christianity today survey listed the top excuses people give for not praying more.

- Number one was "I'm too busy"
- Number two was a group that all basically said the same thing... I don't know how to pray; it's awkward when I pray; I don't know what to say.
- Number three was a mix of three answers... God doesn't answer my prayers; God doesn't hear my prayers; prayer doesn't change my circumstances.
