Stories play a huge role in all of our lives and most of us like a good story. But stories have a lot more significance in our lives than simply to be of entertainment value. God is the master storyteller and much of what we learn about our Father comes to us through the Biblical stories He has given us. And of course the best story ever is the one captured in the Bible – God’s story.

1. Who is the author of your story
- There is an author to you story, but the author is not you. If you are God’s child, you are invited into a much bigger story.
- Our mission is to exalt God, the Author.
- When I become a follower of Jesus, my life story becomes His and it is all about Him now. It’s not about you anymore.

- We tend to have a microscopic view of our story and we need to shift our perspective.
- We need to see our story within the context of God’s bigger story and come to a place where we really know who God is and discover who we are and who He made us to be.
- Keep the perspective that you are included in a bigger story.

3. Fitting into God’s agenda doesn’t depend on our ability or our circumstances
- When life is good it is easy to trust the Author. But we need to know that even when things don't go well, God still has His story and He wants you to be part of it.
- God can take the brokenness of our lives and turn it into something that display His glory in profound ways.
