Talk It Over

1. What stood our to you the most about the message? If you were to rate how prayer affects your daily life on a scale of red, orange, yellow, green, what would you say and why? What would it take to move up one color closer to God?

2. How did or does your earthly father’s relationship with you affect your relationship with your Heavenly father today? If you are close to God, what is it that makes you close to him? If you are far from God, what is it that makes you far from him?

3. Read Romans 8:15. Get alone and spend time with your Heavenly “Abba, Father.” Do something different in your prayer time. Go longer, get a new location, invite your spouse or kids, get up early, journal, and just talk to your dad. Share what God said to you with someone or in your new summer Life Group next week.
