1. Read Matthew 6:9-13. The disciples asked Jesus how to pray and this passage shares his answer. What aspects of prayer do you see in this famous prayer? Which 2-3 aspects of the prayer can you add to your prayer life?

2. Barry quoted C.S. Lewis to say, “Prayer doesn’t change God, prayer changes us.” List 2-3 things that keep you from praying regularly. What are 1-2 action steps you can take this week to add prayer to your life?

3. Barry shared 3 aspects of prayer by asking the questions: What are you thankful for? What do you need? And What do the people around me need? Spend some time each day reflecting on these questions and then pray to ask God to align your heart with his.
