We’ve been trying to make it about measuring up as somebody, but we simply need to make room for somebody!

1. Read John 21:4-20. With Jesus and ear shot away, Peter and the disciples missed God's presence by being consumed with work and provisions. What things in your life get in the way of you spending time in God's presence? Describe a time when you were close to God’s presence, what was different. How did it feel?

2. Pastor Sean said, “We’ve been trying to make it about measuring up as somebody, but we simply need to make room for somebody!” Make list of obstacles you face to being in God's presence. Identify which one you are most guilty of. What’s one or two next steps you can take to make room for God's presence this week.

3. You are the culture. People follow you as you follow Christ.If someone watched your life, what things of Jesus would they catch you doing? What things of Jesus can your children, friends, and others model? Pastor Sean said, "The greatest gift you could ever give is Jesus.” Who will line up in HEAVEN and THANK YOU for being Jesus on Earth?

4. Listen to the song “Talking to Jesus" and spend time talking to Jesus! Thank Him, surrender to Him, and walk away faith-filled!
