(Galatians 1:1-5 NLT) This letter is from Paul, an apostle. I was not appointed by any group of people or any human authority, but by Jesus Christ himself and by God the Father, who raised Jesus from the dead. ... May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live.
(Galatians 1:6-7 NLT) I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.
(Acts 15:1 NLT) ... men from Judea arrived and began to teach the believers: "Unless you are circumcised as required by the law of Moses, you cannot be saved."
• What is my approach to GOD?
(Genesis 2:8-9 NIV) Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground || trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
(Genesis 2:16-17 NIV) And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are freeto eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die."
(Genesis 3:1-4 NIV) Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " "You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman.
(Genesis 3:5-7 NIV) "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves
√ One focuses on what YOU DO.

√ One focuses on what JESUS HAS DONE.

(John 5:39-40 NIV) You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.
√ One focuses on getting God's APPROVAL. instead of

√ One focuses on receiving GOd's LOVE.

(Romans 5:8 NIV) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(1 John 4:19 NIV) We love because He first loved us.
√ Give YOUR LIFE to the One who gave HIS LIFE.

• Believing isn't IN SOMETHING. Believing is ON SOMEONE.
√ One focuses on EXTERNAL DUTY.

√ One focuses on INTERNAL DESIRE.

From “GOT TO” to “GET TO
1. FALL IN LOVE with Jesus.

(John 14:15 NIV) "If you love me, keep my commands.
2. Don’t allow CONDEMNATION.

(Romans 8:1-2 NLT) So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
3. Choose it EVERY DAY.

(Deuteronomy 30:19 NIV) This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, . .
