1. Sean and Diane talked about the keys to a “Christ Centered” marriage. What key stuck out to you the most and why? One of the main keys they mentioned was to fight fair. If you had to rate yourself green, yellow, red on how well you fight fair, what color would you give yourself and why? What one small step can you take in your next conversation to fight fair?
2. God has brought your marriage together for a purpose that you can do more together than apart. Jesus is calling you to be mission driven. How would you rate living on mission for God in your marriage currently on a scale of 1 to 5? In what ways are you being mission driven? If you were to raise your score by just one point what would you be doing differently?
3. Generate a list of the top pitfalls people fall into that lead to devil winning and dividing a marriage. Which one would you say your marriage is most guilty of? Pastor Sean said, “Jesus is in the restoration business and never underestimate a what God can restore with a willing heart.” Describe how willing are you to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading and to build a strong marriage on Jesus? In six months if your marriage is the strongest it’s even been, what did you do differently to get there? Stop and pray for God to do just that.
