I Want To Serve

As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

hey
The best way to understand the Apostles’ Creed is to dig into the Bible.
I have no intention of preaching the creed, but using the creed to preach the Bible.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
I believe in Jesus Christ... He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;

The Apostles’ Creed makes a jarring leap straight from Jesus’ birth to his death.
What the scriptures declare, that Christians sometimes forget, is that Jesus did not just die for us; but he also suffered for us as well.
We are all Pontius Pilate. We have all made decisions in our lives to hand over Christ so that we can shield ourselves from suffering or obedience.

We as Christ followers must know the difference between peace and easy.
Bull, heifer, and goat sin offerings were burned outside the city (Exod. 29:14; Lev. 4:12, 21; Num. 19:3,9).

Criminals were executed and blasphemers were buried outside the city.(Lev. 13:46; Num. 15:35-36).

The unclean lived outside the city through the time of their uncleanness (Lev. 13:46; Num. 5:3-4; Deut. 23:10).

All outsiders remained there until they were accepted into community (Josh. 6:23).
