Counterfeits are a big problem in the modern world. Whether it’s money, drugs, art, designer handbags, or – most recently – N95 masks, the proliferation of convincing counterfeits causes all sorts of trouble. This sermon focuses on an even more dangerous counterfeit – counterfeit doctrine. In 1 John 2:18-27, God warns us about the danger of counterfeit doctrine and equips us to defend ourselves and our churches from the damage it does.
