Who is ready to let go of what is consuming you and be consumed by the presence, the peace, and the power of Jesus?
Talk It Over
1. What’s your story? How are you and God? What sign are you looking for? What’s weighing on your heart? What are you afraid of? What mess are you in? What’s consuming you? What’s keeping you up at night? What plans are you making on your own apart from God?
2. Pastor Sean said that “God spend six days creating the Heavens and Earth and everything in it, then planned for 6,000 years to get into your presence.” From Genesis 3:15, Genesis 12:3, Numbers 24:17, Isaiah 9:6-7, and Isaiah 7:14 God fulfilled prophecies to send Jesus as Galatians 4:4-5 says at the “fullness of time!” What sticks out to you the most about God working so hard to get to you? How does it make you feel?
3. Matthew 1:24 says “When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him?” You can imagine the peace and the new found purpose of hearing from God about Mary being pregnant from the Holy Spirit. What peace do you need from God in this season. If you know Jesus, describe how you started that relationship. What would you say to someone who needs Jesus this season? Are you ready to come into the full presence of God through a relationship with Jesus?
