Rom. 5:5
Pastor Jerry Koller
From the beginning: God is love. (1 John 4:8)
Because God is love, man has been fashioned to channel this attribute of God.

1. Impatience
2. Meanness
3. Enviousness
4. Boastfulness
5. Selfishness
6. Pride
7. Rudeness

Summer Camp Fundraiser

We are hosting a "take an envelope" fundraiser to support our future campers. There is a tree outside the sanctuary which has numbered envelopes. If you'd like to participate, then the number on the envelope that you pick is the amount of money you would like to donate. [Example: If you take the number 6, then you'll donate $6.] You can take as many envelopes as you'd like. And if all the envelopes are taken, then we will raise $5500 for future campers!! This would enable many of our students to bring a friend with them to camp - what an exciting way to possibly introduce someone to Jesus for the first time! Envelopes can be dropped in the offering bucket or mailed back to church. For questions, please contact Rob Zantello or the church office.

Christmas Eve Service: Friday, 12/24

Join us for a special time of worship on Christmas Eve!
Friday, December 24 | 6:00 pm | FBC Sanctuary
If you would like to participate in the service (sing, dance, instrumental, etc.), please contact Pastor Jerry as soon as possible.

Annual Meeting: 1/16/2022

Our Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 16, immediately following the morning worship service. 2022 budget information will be emailed to all members by December 15. If you do not receive this via email, please let Kim know. Pastor Jerry is also putting together an Annual Report that will cover all ministries which will be emailed as well. We will not have a potluck after the meeting.
1. Approval of the 2022 budget.
2. Affirmation of the 2022 Elder Ministry Team (which is the same as 2021): Jason Avery, Brian Bocock, Steve Follman, Janette Hendrix, and Rob Zantello
For questions or more information, please contact the church office.

Church Office Closed

The church office will be closed while Kim is on vacation through 12/31. If you have an emergency prayer chain, please call/text Kim's cell (269-767-2226) or email (southhavenfbc@gmail.com) and she will respond as soon as she is able.

Reminder: Zoom Account Available for You to Use

As we approach the holidays, we just wanted to remind you that the church has a corporate Zoom account which allows for unlimited people to participate for an unlimited amount of time (unlike the free version). If you'd like to access our account and use it for Zoom meetings to connect with family and friends during the holiday season (or anytime really), please contact Kim to set-it up.

New Women’s Study Begins

All ladies are invited to join a new Bible study beginning on January 12. The study will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30 PM. Depending on what participants want to do, it will be in-person, online, or a hybrid of both. This group will be doing the study Elijah by Priscilla Shirer. Join this 7-session journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now. To sign-up or for questions, contact Tracy Marshall or the church office.
