Broad Path vs Narrow Path
Leads to Destruction vs Leads to Life
Many Enter vs Few find it
The way to life is on God’s terms alone; the way to destruction is on any terms a person wants, because every way but God’s leads to the same fate.
The most critical of all decisions is our decision about Jesus Christ and His kingdom. This decision determines our eternal destiny. The Sermon on the Mount cannot simply be admired and praised for its ethics. The Sermon on the Mount demands a decision, and that decision is what will you surrender your life to?
Both the broad and the narrow roads proclaim that they point to the good life, to salvation, and to blessing; but only the narrow road actually leads to those.
The person who enters the narrow gate must enter alone. We can bring no one else and nothing else with us.
