“When Christ is your life…”

Colossians 3:1-11

Our theme verse is Col 2:9-10 “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.” NIV

“When Christ is your life…” Three things are going to be transformed in you.

#1 When Christ is your life… your _____ will become _______ minded.

“Set” – "to seek or strive for earnestly" – it’s a ______!

#2 When Christ is your life… your ___ will be _______ in Christ and the old earthly nature will be “Put to _______”.

It means when we give our lives to Jesus, when we are “born again”- we die to one ____ and come alive to another ____.
“hidden” refers to a once buried ______ that’s just been found!

“glorious riches” are ______ riches, and everything Christ gives us to live for Him. Dead to sins power and control and alive to the riches of life in Christ! Those riches enable us to:

“This is not who I want to be, I’m getting rid of it!”

This is the best part, I’m being “______” every day!

#3 When Christ is your life… your ____ will be _______ like his.

V. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

"No more looking backwards!”
